Introduction
Welcome to Ravens View Studio. The following Terms of Service (“ToS”) govern your use of our website www.ravensviewstudio.co.uk (the “Website”), operated by Ravens View Studio. By accessing and using the website, you agree to be bound by these ToS. These Terms apply to all users, regardless of platform or browser. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the website immediately.
Eligibility
This website is accessible to users of all ages for browsing purposes. However, you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase age-restricted items, such as Sgian-Dubhs, or to post comments on our blog or events.
Products and Descriptions
All products shown are hand-crafted unique items. Slight variations and natural imperfections are part of their charm and are not considered defects. Colours may appear slightly different due to lighting or screen display variations.
Stock will always be one-of-a-kind pieces, and so orders will always be processed as first-come, first-served.

Ordering and Payment
All order payments are handled via Squarespace Payments, enabling payments by the following methods:

We also accept PayPal.
Both PayPal and Squarespace are third-party payment processors, providing secure checkout for all orders. Payment is collected upon completion of the order.
Shipping and Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. Due to our location in the Scottish Highlands, occasional delays (e.g., due to weather or power outages) may occur. We will communicate any delays and keep you informed.
We currently ship within the UK as standard. For international orders, please email us to discuss shipping options and customs requirements. Some countries restrict the import of natural materials like wood, and buyers are responsible for any customs fees.
All orders within the UK are sent via Royal Mail or Parcel Force and will be tracked. Tracking numbers will be provided.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Buyers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the item. You must notify us of your intention to return within this period, and return the item within 14 days of notification. Refunds will be processed once the item has been received and inspected. The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost, including the tracking and insurance of the item. The item must be returned in identical condition to how it was received and must be returned unused.
If you receive an item damaged, please provide photographs of the item and the packaging as soon as possible. We will arrange collection of the damaged item and we will manage the issue with our carrier (Royal Mail or Parcel Force). We will process the refund once the item has been received.
Refunds will only be processed through Squarespace Payments and PayPal, with refunds only being sent to the same payment method.
If an item develops a flaw within six months of the delivery date, please get in touch with photographs and details of the issue. If the issue has been caused through the production of the item, we will endeavour to rectify the issue either through refund or repair, at the buyer's discretion. If an issue has been caused by user error, such as poor cleaning practices (e.g. using a dishwasher), then no refund will be offered. However, if the item can be rescued, we will offer to repair the item at the buyer's cost. The return of the faulty item will initially be at the buyer’s expense, which will be reimbursed if the fault is confirmed to be a production issue.

Intellectual Property
All content included on this website is the property of Ravens View Studio, and may not be reused without our written permission. This includes all photographs, text and graphics.
User Conduct
Any illegal use of the website, such as fraudulent orders, is prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.
Users using blog or event comments must conduct themselves respectfully and legally.
Limitation of Liability
Ravens View Studio shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Any liability we hold is limited to the amount the buyer has paid for our product.

Changes to Terms

If any provision of these ToS is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Governing Law
These ToS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
