Spurtles can be used for all kinds of cooking needs, from stirring porridge oats, to soups, stews or even custard.
Hand turned in Scottish Elm and finished with Mineral Oil and Wax to food standard, these spurtles can be used in cold, warm or hot liquids.
Once you have finished using it, clean in warm soapy water but do not soak. Then dry as soon as possible, but Do Not put it in a dishwasher!
We recommend a regular application of bees wax or any natural food grade wax with a soft cloth to keep your spurtle in tip top condition.
