This plate has been cut from a piece of timber that had a small burl growing through the centre, giving the middle of the plate a starry pattern, with a few burl swirls. The natural edge provides a shallow lip at the edge of the plate.
Finished with Chestnut Food Safe Finish, this plate is food safe, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It is NOT dishwasher safe! If it needs cleaning, please use a gentle natural soap with warm, not hot, water on a soft non-abrasive pad and dry immediately.7
